I could not agree more with the author Robin Grille. Until society as a whole makes the connection that every terrorist was once a terrorized child, he is telling his true story to the world unconsciously and compulsively by reenacting it on the stage of the world. Sylvie Imelda Shene. Actually, the cause of every war is childhood repression, and religion is just a tool people use to repress themselves and others. Religious people are willing to go to war to protect and defend their faith. The drug of choice to numb their authentic feelings is religion, just like a heroin addict, whose drug of choice to repress their authentic feelings is heroin. Addiction and greed are the same thing. Greed or addiction means that whatever the object of our affection is, we can never get enough of it. Addicts live in constant fear of losing the object of their affection and go to any lengths to protect it. They will lie, cheat, steal, go to war without thinking twice, and exploit others, even their own children. No wonder many young people are so angry; when we feel used and manipulated, we get furious.
