Covert narcissism is an epidemic in the workplace, especially in the field of security! I see them clearly from a distance. I knew my last boss was trouble from the first time I laid my eyes on him when he came aboard in 2019, after the security company I was working for got bought by a new company. I worked with a target on my back for almost 4 years until I had enough of his mind games and lies and finally quit! Yes, they keep plenty of cronies or flying monkeys around them. These people are soulless and they want their targets to become soulless like them. "The ideal outcome for the abuser is to succeed in making the other “evil,” which transforms the evil into something more normal because it is now shared. He wants to inject the other with what is bad in him. To corrupt is the ultimate goal."
