I thought of you once in a while these last days, hoping that you are not suffering from more trouble with "bad" people targeting you...

I am confused, yes, very much... and I "wanted" it... Somehow, it feels as though I was unconsciously, yet focused, brought to where I am. 

Yes, like in this song, I still want to meet a heart that understands me and my troubles... but I know, this can't be... I must be born inside myself...

it is something about my relation to god... which is, of course, a bizarre thing to write and think, because I have learned to believe that god isn't a useful vice versa for a child, for a human mind... too unreal... only replacement for not experiencing true human love???

How could I judge you or anyone else, for that matter?!

I know how hard it is to face, understand, and consciously feel the repressed emotions within the context of our own childhood.

I was fortunate by circumstances -- to have a job free to come and go as I pleased -- at the time my repression was triggered to the surface -- so I could take time off to do research work -- to figure it all out -- and thanks to finding Alice Miller’s books and website -- to help me understand what was happening to me and why?! And finally, consciously feel all my feelings within the context of my childhood -- without hurting myself, others, or both.

If I didn’t have this luxury -- I only had two other alternatives -- to kill myself and exit this world prematurely like many do -- or repress all my authentic feelings all over again and fake it like most people do in order to be able to work and survive.  Is no way I could have let myself feel all the overwhelming, intense feelings of the child I once was and keep a job at the same time.

Repression helps us survive as children, but as adults, it will keep us prisoners of our childhood and vulnerable to being manipulated and exploited by sociopaths, psychopaths, or malignant narcissists.

Many people don’t have this luxury, like I had to be able to take time off work and be free to live through the repressed emotions of the child they once were. Some have this luxury to take time off from work to be in solitude and consciously experience the repressed emotions of the child they once were, but are too afraid to be alone with their repressed feelings and misuse their money to distract themselves and feed all kinds of perversions and addictions and are misled by charlatans that are very happy to exploit their repressed emotions to grab on and use as reins to gain control and power over them. We live in a world of puppets and puppeteers.  

I just wish sociopaths, psychopaths, and malignant narcissists would stop targeting me and leave me alone --  give up on trying to bring me back into an emotional prison -- but I understand that nothing triggers their jealousy and hatred more than a seeing a truly happy and free person, and they are driven blindly by jealousy and hatred.   And to protect myself, I have to keep long bridges from people and not cross it too often in order to enjoy my freedom and peace for the rest of my life.

I always want to scream when adults say how articulate and well-spoken she is --- YES, she's gifted, but that doesn't mean she understands the dynamics of the reenactments she's creating on the stage of the world and what really is happening to her. My sister, three years older than me, was gifted in the same way, and her adult life is a tragedy. When adults assign the role of hero to a child, they set children up for failure as adults, because no one can save us but ourselves. Most gifted children's adult lives are tragic because they never manage to escape this trap.

M: Sylvie Imelda Shene Right. Too convenient for parents when their adolescent is distracted from issues that concern them too. The puppeteers take advantage of willing parents to use their children. Greta is said to be autistic too. She could well be. She seems genuinely mad for a problem so far from her capacities. Without the puppeteers, she has no platform and no clout with royalties to cross the Pacific. Whatever she feels, she is a puppet for corporatists.

Sylvie:  M, totally! I could not agree more with what you wrote. When she yelled at the politicians in the UN - that they have stolen her childhood - she doesn't realize that the politicians on the stage of the world -- they are just symbolizing her parents -- the ones that really stole her childhood -- we cannot ever liberate ourselves from the emotional prison of our childhood with unconscious reenactments with people symbolizing our parents or childhood caregivers. If she posed a threat to expose the manipulative tactics of the system, she would have been ignored, rejected, or attacked just like I was after I published my book. She's being embraced by the system because they can exploit and use her to manipulate the emotionally blind society.

B: Sylvie-- You must be kidding, saying she's not being attacked just like you were. The attacks are all over the media, particularly from the ultra-right-wing conservatives who ridicule and condemn her in the nastiest terms possible.

And what stolen adolescence? She's doing what many young people do or did, including myself, who was also an activist at that age, working in political campaigns of my choosing -- and not being pushed by parents or any adults to do so, not at all.

There are a great many young people who are independent of spirit and seek to forge their own path irrespective of whatever society, the stifling educational system, and scolding adults seek to do to repress their natural instincts. That is a very good thing, not something to condemn.

B: Sylvie -- "Most gifted children their adult lives are a tragedy,.." What a sweeping statement to make, a preposterous generalization. I was a gifted child. My life has not been a tragedy, far from it. I have led a life of independence and accomplishment in the fields I chose, doing my bit of good in the world. And I have seen the gifted children of friends doing truly wonderful things from tender ages, who have become among the most accomplished and happiest people I have ever known, largely because of their fierce independence of spirit. Why people insist on condemning those who choose their own path is beyond me, but I can tell you that I never allowed such people to deter me from my goals, try as they might. And I would encourage any bold young person, such as these two being criticized here, to continue making their own way in the world. Severn Cullis-Suzuki is the daughter of a prominent environmental activist scientist. Of course she would be far more aware of the issues than most others. She has gone on to have a stellar career of her own. What on earth is wrong with that? Certainly there is nothing to condemn in her life.

I abhor people, young or old, who allow themselves to be used by the elite. Before I took a stand on Greta Thunberg, I did my research, and it is clear that she is a puppet (she may or may not be fully aware of it; none of us know her personally). It is clear her parents are accomplices and at the service of the elite (their background and connections are clear indicators, and it is all documentable on the internet). They are elites too. No need for deep knowledge of human psychology; some intuition is enough to connect the dots. One more illusion... I'm always amazed at how the masses fall for false heroes and the illusions they sell. Humanity has been trapped in a bubble since the beginning of time, unconsciously and compulsively reenacting the old painful dramas. Evil is born anew with every new generation.

The real conversation should be about the dangers of childhood repression in our society. Until this conversation starts happening on a global stage, no matter what Greta or anyone else says, it will not stop humanity from self-destructing. If people resolve childhood repression, it will stop hurting the environment, themselves, and others.

I agree with the comment above, but once someone has been elevated to cult leader status, if you say anything, the followers will attack you viciously, but it's sad because this 16-year-old has no idea what is happening to her -- that she's nothing but a pawn being exploited by the sociopaths in the stage of the world.

Climate change is a symptom and is just a half-truth that is being exploited by some members of the elite for name recognition and to enrich themselves, so they can build their bunkers to protect themselves from climate change and other threats. 

The root causes of the world's problems are childhood repression, but I don't see that conversation starting anywhere in the stage of the world -- who wants to face their own painful childhood repression?! 

So if we really want to change the world  -- let's start the conversation about the dangers of childhood repression in our society. Greta is being exploited first by her parents and now by everyone else...

Sylvie: I have learned that nothing is ever what it seems. What the public sees and what goes on behind the scenes are two totally different stories. 

Good for her that her bubble has not burst yet, and she is still cashing in on her talents by focusing on symptoms rather than dealing with the root causes of society’s problems. 

We live in a world of puppets and puppeteers, and people are free to give their minds and souls to whoever they choose. 

The world has no lack of good speakers, performers, actors, and actresses. If lectures and sermons by well-articulated speakers worked to change human behavior -- the world would have changed many times over. 

It might help us feel better in the short term, like taking medication, but in the long run, it will make things worse.

…too many of us think that simply praising ourselves or visualizing ourselves in perfect circumstances is all we need to do to change. Even those who realize that real change is more difficult still take the easy way out and focus their energy on getting rid of symptoms, instead of searching out the root cause. 

“There are plenty of means to combat symptoms of distress: medications, sermons, numerous ‘treatments,’ ‘miracles,’ threats, cults, pedagogical indoctrination, and even blackmail,” Alice Miller says. “They can all work for a while, but only because they reinforce the repression and reinforce the fear of resolving it.

 … A lot of money and fame comes from this business of repression because it satisfies the longing of so many grown-up children: to be loved as a good child... In this book, Alice Miller shows how gifted children mastered the art of repression to perfection by developing a false self to accommodate the adults around them and get positive attention from them.

Troubled teenagers don’t drop out of the sky and are actually more authentic; they are unconsciously trying to bring attention to the facts and the true state of affairs, and if they are lucky to find an enlightening witness to help them deal with the pain that they were born to parents who could not really love them, then they might grow up -- into mature conscious adults. But unfortunately, our world lacks true enlightened witnesses, and these troubled youth might never get the help they need. And some sadly end up in jail for petty crimes.

Being on the receiving end of a person who lacks empathy reveals a harsh reality about the human condition that we didn't want to believe existed. Watching people side with your abuser, disbelieve you, and even worse, bully or smear you along with the narcissist is highly traumatic and isolating. It's within our human nature or socialization to side with the crowd. The abuser gains momentum by getting to the crowd earlier and then playing up to them, which is their perverse talent.

Narcissist n): a more polite term for a self-serving, manipulative, evil asshole with no soul.

Isn't it freakin' Frustrating when you're the only person who can see how evil and manipulative someone is, and everyone else is blind to it?

Just a friendly reminder that abusers don't abuse/target everyone they come in contact with, so placing doubt on the people being targeted by the abuser based on your experience with that person is irresponsible and unkind. Thanks.

When it comes to politics, the left and the right are both just different ends of the same stick; they both are fighting for power and money. And, they both use half-disconnected truths mixed with pretty lies, pretty illusions, and catchy slogans for brainwashing and mind control to mobilize the masses to join their political cults and vote them into power. 

And suppose they feel threatened by a person who can expose their pretty lies and dirty games, they will join forces to destroy a person, a common enemy. In that case, they fear can expose their lies, illusions, and dirty games, like I was, they were people from the left and the right working together very hard with a very well-orchestrated psychological warfare to try to silence me and discredit me and my book, so they could go on with their lies and illusions as usual.

As long as most people in our society are blinded by the repressed emotions of the child they once were, there will always be just two choices to vote for, pure evil and the lesser evil. 

The fight we are witnessing in the stage of the world is not between good and evil, it’s between pure evil and the lesser evil, and they both are just driven by the repressed fears of the child they once were to gain as much power and money to escape from having to re-experience the powerless and the fears of the child they once were!

The biggest threat to humanity is people's repressed emotions of the child they once were, blinding them. If people were not emotionally blind, they would be able to see the lies, illusions, and all the traps society constantly puts in front of them. And yes, an emotionally blind humanity with the aid of technology will destroy itself much faster. Pure evil causes a lot more damage than the lesser evil. As we are witnessing… That's why I always vote for the lesser evil, which causes much less damage. There's a big difference between pure evil and the lesser evil. 

The Silence from the Media is Deafening

In 2015, When I left my job of nine and a half years in Scottsdale. I went to work in Paradise Valley for a year. While working there I met the local Fox news vice president, Mark Rodman, so after I left I wrote to him to see if he could help me get my story out. He responded to my letter, as you can see below, but I misplaced his letter and I can't find it anywhere, but May 5, 2020, I found on google photos a picture of his letter! The media is not one-bit interested in connected stories like mine. Sadly most people in the media are only interested in disconnected stories of victims without resolution they can exploit for pure sensationalism, they are like vultures. And they feel threatened by connected stories like mine, because stories like mine, makes people look in the mirror to question themselves, their own parents and people in power position standing in symbolizing their parents. AND WHO WANTS TO DO THAT?! Most people are still scared little children afraid of being punished if they dare to speak the naked truth and expose the real state of affairs.  

this is the clearest explanation of our current human civilization.

I’m sorry to bother you, but I thought you might be interested in my story now that part of it is in the public record. I filed a lawsuit against my former employer, Securitas, for discrimination and emotional harassment after I published my book.

It’s kind of interesting how this all came about. Your neighbor at C., M. P., hired me to watch his home when he’s away on business, and we’ve actually become great friends. He couldn’t believe what happened to me at S, and he encouraged me to file a complaint of wrongful termination with the EEOC. Unfortunately, by the time I contacted them I had already missed their deadline, but they issued me a letter of my rights to sue and told me that I had 90 days to file the lawsuit. I don’t know how it will end, but I hope it will help raise awareness about emotional harassment in the workplace, especially towards women.

M. has also become a huge fan of my book and has great respect for its truthfulness, authenticity, and honesty. These are the things I value most in life, and I know that my book is a valuable contribution to anyone else who wants to see things more clearly.

I heard journalist Christiane Amanpour give a speech recently and these words really resonated with me: “I believe in being truthful, not neutral. And I believe we must stop banalizing the truth.”

This is why I’m so eager to get my story out. The people at Securitas and at S. wanted to destroy me, because they couldn’t handle the truth. As it turns out, my ex-boss, K. The last time we spoke, you mentioned that my book spooks people. I believe that it only spooks people who are living a lie and are threatened by the truth, and that makes it all the more important to get my story out there.

My book is slowly finding an audience, which includes friends like M. P. and Mrs. W., who also lives in C., as well as strangers across the country and around the world who contact me on a regular basis and write great reviews on my Amazon page.

I hope you can help me share my story with the general public. Not because it’s my book or my story, but because it’s urgent for society to understand the damaging effects of childhood repression and how it turns people into sociopaths who do everything from intimidating women in the workplace to use the political system to prop themselves up and keep others down. Alice Miller knew what she was talking about when she recognized the damage parents can do to their children, and the world is in dire need for a conversation about what we can do to stop the madness.

My ex-boss, who the property manager recruited to do her dirty work, killed himself in a standoff with the local police after robbing a bank on March 11, 2016, that by coincidence was my birthday! So, the property manager does have blood on her hands after all, because I know without a doubt, if she had not started this psychological warfare against me, he would still be alive – he was her collateral damage – when people start wars someone always gets hurt or killed!!! I was her target to destroy, but when was one of her helpers to lose his mind and self-destruct, everyone involved became silent, and now is a big cover-up that involves the FBI, the US Marshals, and the media. It's a shame he was not strong enough to stand up to do the right thing and let himself become a puppet of the property manager -- he paid a high price for it. Puppets never have a good end. If it was me, the little woman to lose my mind and commit a crime my name and face would have been splashed all over the news stations! And then all probably go on TV talking about how disturbed the little woman was -- to discredit me and my book -- and make a name for themselves by standing on my head. And all probably say that you need God in your life, my ex-boss was a Mormon, a man of God, but he was the one to lose his mind, but now is a big cover-up. I could see their dirty games and traps so clearly.

I have not heard, yet from M. R.. The silence from the media is deafening, they are so afraid of the truth of connected stories and are all about protecting the status quo.

Yes, people can be very weird, especially in the media. These words by Alice Miller are so true: “… Rather than take the risk, they prefer to forgo information that might be of life-death importance for coming generations. So in order not to have to call their own parents into question for a single moment, they cling to outdated, destructive opinions. …Clearly, the prospect of confronting one’s own personal history, in this case, is an alarming experience. And, as always, the fear of facts is stilled by a fascination with intellectual terms and abstractions aimed at concealing and masking the truth—the truth of facts that appear so threatening… At every attempt to share the new discoveries I made with the public, I ran up against the most determined resistance on the part of the media. It is true I can go on publishing these discoveries in my books because my publishers are already aware of the growing interest in this topic. But there are other people who have important things to say, and they are dependent on the press. They and their readers rely on essential information not being torpedoed. All too often, however, the media buttress the wall of silence against which all those who have begun to confront their own childhood rebound.”

I have to figure out a way of how to break through the media’s very thick wall of silence. It seems the media only pays attention when there is violence and spilled blood, in our society most people feed on violence and are like vultures looking for dead bodies, especially those in the media. The media only pays attention to violence for pure sensationalism and ratings. It seems violence is the only language they understand and pay attention to, so it going to be hard to penetrate through the media’s wall of silence.

Dear Mark,

Thank you for replying to my letter, but I don’t think you understood what I was asking you for.
I’m not looking for coverage to get back at a particular company for firing me unjustly—my message goes way beyond that.

My goal is to raise awareness of the dangers unresolved childhood trauma inflicts on our whole society. The sooner people understand that if they work through their deep repression—and the resulting compulsion to repeat the damage that was done to them by hurting others—the less likely we’ll have to live and work with sociopaths. Our world will be less consumed by the awful things that make news every day, from celebrity sexual harassment charges and ideological fighting to terrorist attacks and nuclear threats from the world’s dictators.

Alice Miller was a courageous thinker who understood what it takes to heal humanity. Her teachings healed me, and my goal is to spread her message to as many people courageous enough to listen.

Maybe what I have to offer isn’t a hard news story, but I’m hoping you can help me find an appropriate lifestyle platform at your station. Or perhaps you know some journalists who want to explore a proven way to change human behavior for the better.

Alice Miller ran into great resistance from the media, so it’s no surprise that I’m running into the same problems. All I need is one champion, who will understand the power of her incredible message of hope. If you can’t be that person for me, perhaps you can introduce me to someone who will.

Noam Chomsky describes beautifully in the article in the link above how the media manipulates the public.  When Donald Trump says the media is the enemy of the people -- he is right -- he accuses the media of doing what he also does. Donald Trump doesn't like to be challenged and the media also doesn't like to be challenged and this is why no one in the media talks to me because my story challenges them.  They are each other’s mirrors and both don’t like their own reflections and hate each other.

The media met their match in Donald Trump, and the real losers are the public that is lost in smoke and mirrors doing exactly what the puppeteers want them to do. We live in a world of puppets and puppeteers.

And this is why they saw an enemy in me that need to be destroyed because after reading my book A Dance to Freedom: Your Guide to Liberation from Lies and Illusions, they knew I could not be controlled and manipulated, so they needed to erase me.

And this is also why most mental health professionals can't be trusted because they use their psychological insights to manipulate their clients and keep them in the state of the child or dependency for easy exploitation and to keep control over them.

Like I experienced with the psychologist Olane Roos or Liliane Rombout in the Netherlands that went to great lengths to mess with my mind like changing her name.

The media doesn't tell the whole story, only likes to pay attention to the last act, and report tragic disconnected stories they can exploit for pure sensationalism. They give the public half-truths and misleading information to manipulate the masses and protect the status quo

“Humiliations, spankings, and beatings, slaps in the face, betrayal, sexual exploitation, derision, neglect, etc. are all forms of mistreatment, because they injure the integrity and dignity of a child, even if their consequences are not visible right away. However, as adults, most abused children will suffer, and let others suffer, from these injuries. I witness these psychological mechanisms being played everywhere. This is one of the reasons most people stayed silent on the sidelines when I was the target of psychological warfare at my job of nine and a half years, if I didn't understand these psychological mechanisms, and I had taken it personally, would have affected my mental health to the point that I would not be here today... understanding these psychological mechanisms can save your life -- you might lose money but it will save your life and you stay free.
