Rise above the sociopaths' bullshit, because reacting to their lies and bullshit, that's what they want and that's what gives them power.
When people are not able to face and feel at the conscious level a painful truth, they will always use rationalizations and the intellect to create a smoke screen to hide the facts from themselves and others; and they rather shoot the messenger than face and feel at the conscious level the pain of their own painful truths.
