Sitting Ducks

Sitting Ducks, that's where many members of my family are, and unfortunately, most of humanity. That's why Elon Musk and Donald Trump took full advantage of people's emotional blindness who are just like Sitting Ducks.

The term "sitting ducks" refers to someone or something that is an easy target or in a vulnerable position, making them susceptible to attack, criticism, or being taken advantage of.

Here's a breakdown of its meaning and usage:

Easy Target: Like a duck sitting still on the water, presenting an easy shot for a hunter, a "sitting duck" is someone or something that is readily available for an attack or exploitation.

Vulnerability: The term highlights a lack of defense or protection, whether physical or metaphorical, leaving the individual or object exposed to harm.

Figurative Use: While it originated in the context of hunting, the phrase "sitting duck" is primarily used figuratively to describe situations beyond the literal.

Examples of how "sitting ducks" is used:

Military Context: A unit caught in an exposed position with no means of defense or retreat could be described as "sitting ducks".

Business Vulnerabilities: Unpatched systems or weak user credentials can make a company a "sitting duck" for cyberattacks.

Interpersonal Situations: Someone who is easily manipulated or taken advantage of in social or personal relationships could be considered a "sitting duck".

Yes, we have to be more vigilant, because he can cause a lot more damage from behind the scenes.

I hope she's right! The first thing the next administration has to do is get rid of doge, F-Elon Musk, and repair the damage they caused.

They voted against their own interests because they were blinded by hatred towards scapegoats. That's why DT won because he provided his followers the scapegoats they desperately need, like the immigrants. Hatred cannot be resolved by scapegoating. It has to be understood and consciously felt within the context of our own childhoods.
